It’s almost like we watched two completely different movies.

It’s not a perfect film, and I have real issues with the handling of Natasha, but Endgame made me feel on a level akin to watching Star Wars as a child. And isn’t that the point of art? To make us feel something?

The crowd was electric and it was an experience I’ll never forget. That just doesn’t happen without a 20-something movie build-up.

And to be clear: I am the most casual of comic book fans. I knew of the main characters, but had never heard of the Guardians or Thanos or even Captain Marvel before the films.

Sorry to hear you feel duped, but I think you are probably in the minority on this one.
